Model answer

The hobby I enjoy most is photography, especially taking pictures of city streets and everyday moments. I got interested in it a few years ago when a friend lent me a camera for a weekend trip. I was surprised by how much fun it was to notice small details, like the light falling across an old building or someone reading in a busy café. Since then, I’ve made a habit of going for a walk with my camera whenever I have some free time. I’m not a professional, so I mostly use my phone, but I’ve learned a lot about composition and natural light by experimenting. I also enjoy editing my pictures afterwards and choosing a few to share with friends. For me, photography is more than just a way to pass the time. It helps me slow down and pay attention to my surroundings, which is a useful change of pace from work and screens. I like that I can enjoy it on my own, but it also gives me something to talk about with other people. Overall, it’s a relaxing and creative hobby that I can keep improving at without needing to spend a lot of money.
