Model answer
Globalization has significantly influenced my country's cultural identity, creating both opportunities and challenges. On one hand, it has led to a vibrant fusion of traditions, with international cuisine, fashion, and entertainment becoming integrated into daily life. For instance, sushi bars and K-pop concerts are now commonplace, reflecting a global cultural exchange that enriches local experiences. On the other hand, there is a growing concern about the erosion of indigenous customs and languages. Younger generations often prioritize global trends over local heritage, leading to a gradual homogenization of culture. To address this, my country has implemented policies to promote traditional arts and festivals, ensuring that cultural identity remains resilient. Overall, while globalization has diluted some aspects of local culture, it has also fostered a cosmopolitan mindset that values diversity. The key lies in striking a balance between embracing global influences and safeguarding what makes our culture unique.
