  3. 3.Can friendships change as people get older? Why?
  4. 4.What do you enjoy doing with your friends in your free time?

Model answer

The quality I value most in a close friend is reliability. For me, a good friend is someone who follows through on what they say and is there for you when life gets difficult, not just when everything is going well. I also appreciate people who are honest but considerate. They can give me useful advice without making me feel judged. One of my closest friends is a former university classmate. We have quite different personalities, because I tend to plan ahead, while she is more spontaneous. Somehow, that balance works well. We often meet for coffee or go for a walk, and we can talk about everything from work to our families. I feel comfortable being myself around her, which is something I really value. Of course, maintaining a friendship takes effort. We are both busy, so we make a point of checking in regularly, even if it is just a quick message. I think friendship is less about seeing someone every day and more about mutual trust, support, and making time for each other when it matters.
