Model answer

On a typical weekday, I try to keep a steady routine because it helps me feel organised without making the day seem too rigid. I usually wake up at around seven, make a cup of tea, and spend a few minutes looking over my plans. After that, I get ready and have a light breakfast, often something simple like yoghurt and fruit. I start work at about nine, and I make a point of taking a short break around lunchtime so I can clear my head and stretch my legs. In the afternoon, I focus on finishing my main tasks rather than taking on too many new ones. Once I’m home, I cook dinner, which is a nice way to unwind. I might read, go for a walk, or call a friend in the evening. Before bed, I prepare a few things for the next morning. This routine gives me a good balance between work and relaxation, although I’m flexible if something unexpected comes up.
