Model answer
I grew up in a mid-sized coastal town in the north of my country. It is not especially famous, but it has a relaxed atmosphere and a strong sense of community. The town centre has a mix of older buildings, small cafés, and newer shops, while the seafront is the place people go to walk, cycle, or watch the sunset. What I value most is how easy it is to feel connected to other people there. Neighbours tend to know one another, and local events, such as the weekend food market, bring different generations together. I also appreciate the balance between convenience and nature. You can get most daily errands done on foot, but you are never far from the beach or the surrounding countryside. Of course, it has its drawbacks. Public transport is limited, and there are fewer career opportunities than in a large city. Still, I feel a real sense of belonging whenever I return. It is the kind of place that may seem quiet to a visitor, but has a lot of meaning for the people who live there.
